The giant Hanuman statue in rural Thailand

Hanuman is a monkey god who appears in traditional Thai mythology, believed to have been introduced to Thailand from the Hindu religion.

In Thai culture, Hanuman is revered as a symbol of courage, strength, and wisdom, and has a significant following among the people.

Hanuman also appears in the traditional Thai performing arts, such as the “Ramakien,” where his portrayal can be seen.

I have created an imaginary image based on the phrase “The giant Hanuman statue in rural Thailand”.

タイの田舎にある巨大なハヌマーン像

In Thailand, statues of Hanuman can be found near temples, public facilities, roads, and bridges.

Many people hold a strong faith in Hanuman and seek his blessings for good luck, health, and safety. They may receive Hanuman amulets or prayer services for this purpose.

Perhaps, among all the Hanuman statues that exist in this world, there may not be one as colossal as this that can be found in Thailand.

Nevertheless, statues of this magnitude possess an enigmatic aura and an immeasurable influence on people, captivating many with their sheer presence.

Their mysterious form and profound impact leave a deep impression on people’s hearts, arousing their imagination.

Hence, large Hanuman statues stand not just as mere figures but as captivating entities that appeal to many people.
